She is said to always cause trouble wherever she goes, so much that she's considered a bad omen by others. Saya's true and original personality is cold, reserve and mysterious. However, by the end of the series, it was revealed that Saya's "normal life" and "happy personality" were all fabricated due to an experiment designed by Fumito Nanahara. She shows immense bravery when facing them and expressed deep sadness whenever she fails to protect other people against them. Saya is incredibly devoted in her role as the Shrine Maiden and her duty to fight against the Elder Bairn. She was also often late for school due to being distracted on the way. Notorious for being clumsy and a bit air-headed, Saya has a bad habit of tripping and falling on her face. She was also very friendly to the point of coming off as naïve. She gets along with her friends and admired her father. In Blood-C: The Last Dark, her outfit is a dark navy blue sailor uniform with white lining on the collar and ends of sleeves as well as a red bow.ĭespite her youthful appearance, Saya is hinted to be much older.Īt the beginning of the series, Saya was originally portrayed as a kind and cheerful teenager who is known around the village for being helpful. She wears a red pleated skirt that goes just past mid-thigh length with some small black lace on the bottom of it. Near the top of the tie, there is a chain connected on each side of her collar, which has a red lining on the collar. She wore a double red tie with a dark grey line around the bottom of it. On her right arm, there is an armband that is connected to her right sleeve. Her school uniform is a dark grey short sleeved shirt with a Peter Pan collar. Saya is usually seen wearing either her shrine maiden outfit or high school uniform. Saya is a tall and slender light-skinned girl teenager who is often referred to as being beautiful with long black hair that is usually kept up in low twin-tails by two red ribbons wrapped around them at the back of her head with bangs hanging on the right side while she has shoulder-length hair strands hanging on either side, blue-gray eyes (sometimes turning bright red) under black oval-shaped glasses with white thin temples and the rest of it being rimless.
